Thanks for taking the time to read this and thank-you in advance for any answers on the subject. Sorry for the long-winded explanation but I wanted to be clear on my question. To clarify, I'm looking to use Nexus mods exclusively (instead of Steam workshop mods) and want to know if there is any drawback to installing SKSE via Steam, or if I should do the regular installer. Now this is supposed to be the easiest way of installing it from what I can tell, however my question is this: If I install SKSE via Steam, will I be able to still use the Nexus Mod Manager mods that need SKSE? I found the website for it and was going to download it when I realized that it had a link to install via steam. I went to download SKSE first and foremost but noticed it wasn't on the Nexus. So, I was about to start modding Skyrim and downloaded the Nexus Mod Manager because Nexus seems to have many more, and more complex mods than the Steam Workshop. I tried exactly what all the youtube instructions and comments said about skse installation. However, no matter what I do, it doesn't fix my problem. I did look but couldn't find anything specifically on my question. Stranger Members 9 posts Hi, I know there are loads of people having the same problem and bunch of answers solving it. First off, this is the first time I've posted on the Steam forums so I apologize if there's a thread for this already.
